Creepy Monster

This is a monster I drew up for a friend's role-play game a while back. I'm not drawing for the project anymore but I'm rather proud of what I produced for it; specifically, this little guy. I'm always working on facial expressions -- it's something of a personal goal to master expressions, and sometimes its frustrating. Really frustrating.

Little victories are nice though, and this drawing was a victory! His mischievous intelligence comes across quite nicely, and I couldn't be more proud!

He's called a 'Mazer'... they're magically constructed creatures (or summoned- I haven't decided yet) who live inside large hedge-mazes. Hence the name. They hunt down intruders who wonder in and randomly deposit them at different 'spawn points' throughout the maze. (Yes, they were inspired by pac-man).
